Daily tips for a happier, healthier you:
-Drink lots of water. Water detoxifies our bodies by transporting lactic acids and other toxins out of our system. It regulates our temperature and is an information carrier which influences our mental and emotional state. 90 % of our brains consist of water. So therefore, healthy thinking needs a healthy water supply. It’s recommended to drink 2 litres of water daily. This supplies us with a clean and balanced body.
-Give your body a short holiday once a week. Be conscious, feel, sense and experience it. Some suggestions are: Sauna, exercise and/or meditation. A combination of these or a new bodily experience of your choice will be rewarded with happiness.
- Choose your colours carefully. They play an important role in influencing our minds and emotions. Feel the colour your want to wear.
Red: activity, passion, life energy, grounding
Yellow: open for contact, new experiences, concentration, immune system
Green: balance, life, relaxation, neutral, compassion
Blue: Space, discipline, passive, calming
- Limit the amount of your exposure to electrical devices. The disturbing energy (EMR or Electromagnetic Radiation) which comes from these devices has a negative influence on our healthy being. Microwave and wi-fi (wireless applications) are amongst the worst. But mobile phones, computers and televisions are also damaging. Be aware of your energy loss and sensitivity to this radiation and protect yourself adequately. For example, turn them off when they’re not in use and don’t have any devices in your bedroom that could interfere with a restful night’s sleep.
- Eat consciously. Organic fruits and vegetables are best. You don’t need to eat such large quantities when you’re consuming the right amounts of vitamins and minerals in your diet to enrich your body. Thinking of this will lower your cost by consuming less and you’ll gain all the benefits of conscious eating.
- Create a silent room (or space in a room) where you can retreat and recharge yourself from a busy day. Just simply sit, close your eyes and focus on your abdominal breathing. This will benefit your inner peace.
- When you’re outside, look around you. See the life and the beauty of nature that surrounds us. And when you feel like sharing a smile with someone you meet, then do so with all your heart.
